Debra Allen is a seasoned executive with over 25 year of experience driving operations entities in both the public and private sector. Debra currently serves as the VP of Operations and Diversity partnerships for the NJW Group since March of 2018 and is responsible for sharpening operational performance, driving global standardization and securing key diversity partnerships as a first-tier subcontractor. Her strategic focus will include first-tier DBE partnerships with prime contractors for U.S. and State Department of Transportation agencies.
Prior to her tenure with the NJW Group, Debra leveraged her deep financial domain experience to lead cost accounting improvements for key government agencies including the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Small Businesses such as On-Time Medical Transportation, and McDowell Company Realtors. Debra’s efforts led to significant cost savings to tax payers as well as key operational efficiencies in government financial operations.
Debra is a pioneer and trailblazer. She served as VP of Operations and the only woman of color with Premier Stone Works. Debra’s reputation for resource management and cost-containment practices throughout her career. During her tenure with Premier Stone Works, she had P&L responsibility and led daily operations driving increased efficiencies and productivity for the firm.
